JHVH
Each time I pose "Who is God?"..each time I hear in response..."a supernatural being." However, is not a being whether subnatural or supernatural, supreme or commonplace, still a being? And a being is inherently endowed with limitations..of perception, space, knowledge..of power, how ever long those powers may last.
There is a popular supernatural being named Jehovah. Yet, for purposes of atonement, in due respect of Jehovah, and by Jehovah's leave, the pronounceable anthropocentric "Jehovah" is transposed to the unpronounceable "JHVH" because the tetragrammaton, JHVH, is not a word, not a conception of being. It is nonconcept, an un'idea. It points to the inscrutable realm of 'all and everything,' the greater universe within which a child is unseparated, unbounded..boundary'less. Altogether, it is unlight, unseeable..the whole of which is beyond any being's natural or supernatural means. Described in terms of what one atones with, JHVH is all power, all knowledge, all places...all ignorance.
After attaining self consciousness and with this understanding of JHVH, if one regularly atones with JHVH, one will maintain access to the excellent faculties that work only when un'self conscious, as one were in their beginning. If not daily, then on the Sabbath. If not on every Sabbath, then once a year or any day designated for the observance of a greater universe beyond one's self. From such atonement comes the most complete peace, however temporary it may be.
This atonement I need, as necessary. Subsequently, I am concerned less with who or what "God" is, than I am with attaining the peace that can only be experience without the separation from all and everything..for I want the most, its forward motion..exciting vision, its every lasting pleasure and enduring flesh for the bones of my spirit, and its love of life, everafter.
I do not need the power and truth of a supernatural being to be my sole source of light, space, and energy; yet, atonement with JHVH does not preclude the solicitation of one within empyrean supraconscious realms. A little help once in awhile is appreciated, in response to a penitent manchild, and the one I solicit inspires me to venerate life as it does...inspires me to atone with JHVH, as it also most assuredly does.
